For Beginners - Learn to Use Your Sewing Machine & Hand Sewing, Ages 10+
Service Description
This 4-day series will cover the basic operation of a sewing machine and fundamental hand sewing skills. This session is for beginners and no previous sewing experience is expected. Open to participants ages 10 and older. Participants will learn how to use a home sewing machine, learn about different types of fabrics, introductory hand sewing skills, measuring, cutting, ironing and following sewing instructions. Participants will work on a small pillow, standard size pillowcase and a tote bag projects. Sewing Machines will be provided along with all fabric and sewing supplies.
